M&B Survey "Business Women who Travel" 2005

Mobility&Business 10/2005   Mobility & Business led a study in August 2005 together with geschaeftsreisekontakt.de (Frankfurt) on the topic business women who travel. Email questionaires were completed by 7,671 business travel decision makers as well as frequent travelers. 41.08% of the respondents were men and 58.92% were women.

597 addressees answered, 21.1% were men – and it comes as no surprise 78.9% were women.
59.04% of the participants answered returned the permission based questionaires within the first two hours.

In addition, 20 telephone interviews were completed to verify the responses and to further improve the quality of the results. The participants of the study represented through their companies a yearly travel budget of 10 million euros.

Prior to this survey there had been no established knowledge in Germany concerning travel for business women. Our studies helped to understand and define the needs of this very important corporate travel group and their relation to the various business travel suppliers.
